Can I install my Floorify rigid floor on top of fixed carpet?

We recommend you to remove a fixed carpet:

-  A too soft surface may cause damage to the click system that holds the floor panels together and in time lead to open joints or even loose panels.
-  Too much air under the floor (eg carpet layer that contains a lot of air) can give rise to an annoying drum effect when walking on the floor.
- Finally,  an old carpet that is closed under your floor can become a source of bacteria or fungi .
