How should you finish a vinyl floor at a door frame?
If the new floor comes up against a threshold or door, we recommend cutting away the moulding at the bottom of the door.

How can you do that?
To make sure you cut correctly, lay a piece of underlay on the floor against the door frame, then lay a floor board upside down on that.
Then, lay the hand saw or multitool flat against the plank and cut through the moulding.
Remove the cut-outs and vacuum the dust away with a vacuum cleaner.
You can now click the longer side of the plank into the side of the cut-out moulding.
TIP: Use a pull bar to ensure that the long and short joint click together firmly.
