How much space do you need to leave for the Floorify end profile?
To install the Floorify end profile, you need to leave a clearance of 27 mm. Take into account the width of the upstanding edge of your profile, the width of the profile itself and the 5 mm expansion joint between the rail and the profile.
Calculation:
6 mm (width of upstanding edge of profile) + 16 mm (width of end profile) + 5 mm expansion joint = 27 mm (see drawing)
OR: you place the rail before placing the floor.

Important: With Floorify gluedown floors, there is no need to install an end profile at transition points such as a window, sliding door, kitchen island, or the edge of a recessed doormat. Because the floor is glued directly to the subfloor, it is extremely stable and barely expands or contracts with temperature changes. This means you do not need to provide an expansion gap.
