Yes, you can install a Floorify floor yourself! Floorify floors are click vinyl floors, which means they are specially designed for a easy do-it-yourself installation. Thanks to the convenient click system (dry lay, no glue), there is no need to hire a professional installer - although of course you can if you want extra security.
Here are a few things to consider:
What do you need?
A level, stable ground (the subfloor must be level, max. 5 mm height difference over 2 m).
A suitable subfloor.
A jigsaw or stanley knife for cutting boards to size.
Spacer blocks to provide expansion joints of approx. 5 mm.
Important tips:
Leave the boards 48 hours acclimatisation in the space where you put them.
Lay the boards in wild bond with a minimum overlap of 30 cm.
Forget the expansion joint not near walls, doorposts and heavy furniture.
Read the laying instructions carefully and make an installation plan before you start.
It is important to space to start well. Spend enough time in your first few rows and make sure they are nice and straight and the joints are closed. Well begun is half won!
