Is Floorify vinyl flooring a durable product?

Floorify is a sustainable product.

It is a good example of the sustainable use of plastics. In contrast to plastics used in disposable carrier bags or drinking straws, the service life of a Floorify rigid vinyl floor is particularly lengthy—up to 30 year warranty. This is considerably more than the use of plastics in other ‘sustainable’ applications such as the automobile industry or smartphones.

Thanks to the floating installation, a Floorify Clickfloor is easy to remove at the end of its service life (unlike glued solutions) and is also recyclable (in contrast to multi-layer plastic floors that comprise different materials). This is also the reason why the underfloor (PE) is always supplied separately at Floorify. This way, we can create all of the prerequisites for optimal recycling.

Floorify gluedown floors also contribute to our sustainable approach. While they are installed using adhesive and therefore not reusable like click floors, the cutting waste is fully recyclable. Through our Floorevive programme, these remnants can be collected and processed. Thanks to their high-quality composition and long lifespan, our gluedown floors are also a responsible choice for anyone looking to build or renovate sustainably.

As Floorify rigid vinyl floors do not need glue to be installed, there are no concerns regarding VOCs (volatile organic compounds). In this context, Floorify is A+ certified.

Floorify satisfies all of the latest European directives (REACH) in relation to hazardous substances (SVHCs) and subjects production to continuous monitoring.
