Can you install a vinyl floor on floating lioleum?

Installing a Floorify rigid vinyl floor on floating linoleum is not recommended. For a correct installation, it is essential that the subfloor is stable, solid, and level.

Both Floorify click floors and glue-down (dryback) floors require a proper subfloor. Click floors need a flat, non-resilient base to function well. Placing two floating floors on top of each other leads to a lack of stability and firmness. For glue-down floors, this is even more critical: they must be fully bonded to a fixed, non-floating surface. A floating subfloor is absolutely unsuitable in this case. This increases the risk of damage or detachment and is therefore not a reliable base for a new floor.
